The mission of Fresh Hope Produce is to secure America’s surplus fruits and vegetables and distribute them to America’s hunger relief charities and food banks across the United States.

The vision of Fresh Hope Produce is to bridge the supply chain gap between America’s surplus of fresh-grown fruits and vegetables and America’s hungry.

It is our belief that there is enough food grown in this country to eliminate hunger.

That is a bold statement, and Fresh Hope Produce exists to bridge gaps previously un-built and un-crossed, in order to do just that: eliminate hunger. The barrier has always been, and continues to be, a supply chain and logistical problem. Questions like how to move excess food grown in Idaho to hungry Americans in Alabama, or how to take advantage of a glut of navel oranges in California and transport them to hungry Americans in New York, are prevalent in U.S. hunger relief efforts. These are issues that responding charities deal with each day as they attempt to feed our fellow citizens. Available food is located in X but there’s no way to get it to Y. This is a frustration that Fresh Hope Produce can alleviate. We believe that America’s food supply can feed America’s hungry. It’s just a matter of getting food to people.
